It is a very convenient neighborhood with everything you may need just couple of minutes from the apartment - Drug Stores, Nail Salons, US Post Office/Fedex & UPS locations, Banks, Money exchange, Barber and more. The new Q Second Avenue/Broadway Express subway station is just a few steps away from the apartment.
